Flexible Spending Plans
A Health Care FSA is a medical reimbursement plan that enables employees to pay for eligible medical, dental, and vision expense items on a pre-tax basis. Such expenses may include deductibles, co-payments, eyeglasses, dental and orthodontia visits, prescription drugs, and even certain over-the-counter items. We also offer Limited FSA's.
NCA Benefits Card
NCA has made CDH and Commuter benefits even more appealing by introducing the NCA Benefits Card. Employees can swipe the card to pay for eligible services without claim forms and out-of-pocket expenses. There is no longer a wait for reimbursement when using this option! Our clients love this option! Swipe and go!
The Transportation and Parking Plan enables employees to pay for expenses that they incur while traveling or commuting to work. These include reimbursement for parking, bus fare, ferry rides and water taxis, subway and mass transit. This plan is also pretax, and unlike the Health Care and Dependent Care Accounts, elections can be changed at any time without penalty or limitation. Unused funds may be rolled forward to the next Plan Year.
A Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account plan allows employees to pay for qualifying day care and babysitting expense items and can even assist in costs for elder care for an adult parent or spouse while the employee is working.
Health Reimbursement Accounts
The Health Reimbursement Account enables employers to purchase a higher deductible or out of pocket plan from their insurance company. The employer may choose to offer a reimbursement to the employees out of the savings. Unused account balances may be carried forward from year to year and also used at retirement, or to subsidize COBRA.
Health Savings Accounts
An HSA is a type of tax-advantage savings account that is designed to work with an HSA-Compatible health insurance plan. These two products in an HSA- a savings account and a health insurance policy- work together to give employees tax advantages and greater control over their healthcare dollars.
We offer a full range of COBRA and HIPAA related services including special lay off situations and employer subsidized plans. Upon election, COBRA continuees can expect to receive their payment coupons, late notices and lapse notices via email or regular mail. We will act to correspond directly with the insurance carrier.
